Master in Theoretical Physics and Applications

Academic Requirements

 

In order to apply to the M1 program (first year) a level corresponding to 180 ECTS (3 or 4 years in a higher education institution) will be required for all students.

European students must be able to prove they have obtained a minimum of 180 ECTS in their previous studies. Non european students should have obtained a minimum degree equivalent to a BSc.

To apply to M2 level (second year) European students must be able to prove they have obtained a minimum of 240 ECTS in their previous studies. Non european students should have obtained a minimum degree equivalent to a Master.

 

The Master Pedagogical Committee (MPC), after examination of  the applicant's documents and will decide on admission at M1 or M2 level. The MPC  will also determine the equivalences for the non-EU students

 

Students are encouraged to describe exhaustively the programs of their previous university degrees together with the corresponding marks, rank, certificates, etc.

Candidates finishing their 180 ECTS degree in spring or summer may apply conditionally. They should provide certificates concerning the previous years and the partial marks obtained in the current academic year.

Though no particular certificate is required, a good mastering of English Language is essential to follow the lectures. Students for whom a visa is required will have to produce a certificate justifying of their English level to the Campus France agency.
