Mini-Workshop on Collective Animal Behavior

3-4 November 2022

Venue: LPTM

CY Cergy Paris University

SUMMARY: Fascinating self-organized phenomena are observed in a large number of biological systems, including fish schools, sheep herds, as well as human communities. Collective animal behavior is studied by researchers from different disciplines, with the aim to understand important aspects of group behavior such as information transfer, synchronized movement, and collective response to environmental cues. The goal of this mini-workshop is to bring together experts on animal behavior to discuss state-of-the-art experimental, modeling, and theoretical approaches in this field.
